online retail

SoloBee.com makes native bee shelters so gardeners can connect with nature while helping the environment.  The product is handcrafted from salvaged mahogany and upcycled redwood, in San Diego California, the brainchild of Architect, and entrepreneur Candice Vanderhoff.  The category is just beginning to emerge.  SoloBee is outperformed and outranked by its formidable competition.  Further, cheap, fashionable entries into the market may cause more harm than good to the environment and to the native bees.

The Challenge:  With sales stagnant, and popular but cheap entries into the market, SoloBee is at the precipice.  Cost of goods are higher, yet the SoloBee product is the “real deal”.

The Solution:  Entering Q4 of 2020, we recalibrated the marketing plan top to bottom, with tactics to fire up sales for the holidays.  Given prior years success with Kickstarter, we launched and then leveraged via an integrated social campaign.

The Results:  We reached and surpassed our Kickstarter campaign and grew website sales and traffic two fold over prior period.
